They saved my roof!! Aaron and his crew came to take down a dead, 150/+ year old burr oak tree. It was feet from our house and had massive branches overhanging half our house. Used SchmiTREEz, LLC on 9/23/24 after they were the first to respond to an Angie's List inquiry made that morning. Not knowing what to expect, was pleasantly surprised by the clean-cut and professional gentleman that showed up. I needed some surgical-style tree trimming to a neighbors large and tall Locust tree growing over the property line and over my house, as well as trimming of my river birch that was hanging over the property line towards my neighbors house. SchmiTREEz, LLC communicated clearly understanding my needs, discussed the trimming procedure with my neighbor to give him piece of mind, and provided a very reasonable quote. Due to time on his schedule said he could fit me in the same day. True to his word he showed up and did an EXCELLENT job ascending the tree to only remove limbs that crossed the property lines while making the tree look aesthetically pleasing. Also, he took the time to carefully cut the limbs to avoid any damage to the chain link fence directly below the area he was working in. After completing the work he consulted with me to confirm his work was up to my standards. Will use this company every time I need tree work. I've found from other projects that it's easy to find the guys that drive flashy trucks and have gimmicky advertising, doing shoddy work. SchmidTrees, LLC isn't that. They are clean-cut and hard working with customer satisfaction clearly their priority. Yesterday SchmiTREEz took down a mature Burr Oak that was nearly dead in our yard. The tree was a challenge because it was wedged between a shed, a tree house and a neighbor’s wood fence. The three man crew rose to the task and in a very professional manner downed the tree in about 6 hours. Using ropes and saws, the mighty Oak was brought down limb by limb. The cost was very reasonable. We give these tree trimmers our highest recommendation.

I requested a quote from Schimitreez to remove a ~30' tall river birch tree. Aaron picked up the phone first call and came to look at the tree at 7pm the same day, he even sent the quote the same night! I always get quotes from multiple companies. SchmiTREEz quote was half that of another company. I decided to hire them based on the competitive pricing and the work quality described. They came out the next day and cut the tree down in less than an hour. They cleaned up after themselves. Thomas came out to grind the stump a few days later. He also did the job quickly and cleaned up after. Overall they did a excellent job and I was impressed with their entire service!

They stopped by on a Sunday to see if we were interested in having them take it down, gave us a quote for the job we wanted them to do, and took it down Tuesday. Not pushy at all! Quick turn around. They were prompt to come and give an estimate verifying what exactly needed to be done and knowledgeable about specific things as well! The trees were all trimmed as requested with a decent amount of mulch left close to where it is needed.

SchmiTREEz was working at a neighbor’s taking down two very large locust trees. I was impressed with their worksite management and asked for a quote on removing a large broken limb at the top of my own large locust tree that was hanging too close to my house for comfort. The quote was very reasonable and the limb was taken down quickly and professionally. My yard had no trace of their Team being there except that the limb was gone. SchmiTREEz did a very good job on trimming and cutting down my trees that I had. I live about two hours from where he is at and he made time to come down and give me a quote. He also made time that same week to come down and do what I asked him to. I though this was awesome because many other business make you wait and then they decide when they want to come and do it. I also thought that his prices for what he did was good and fair. You can also tell that he is in this business because he loves what he does and he is not doing it just for the money.
